The Pontiacs hail from the towns surrounding the Jersey Shore and the banks of the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers. Drawing heavily from rock & roll classics, they honed their skills in the vibrant local bar scene, frequently playing at historic venues like The Wonder Bar and The Stone Pony in Asbury Park.

After extensive gigging in the local bar circuit, the five-piece band, comprising three guitarists, a bass player, and a hard-hitting drummer, decided to infuse some originality into their three-hour-long sets. Rather than relying on covers of The Rolling Stones or Bruce Springsteen, they began writing sessions that drew from their influences, including Jason Isbell, Gaslight Anthem, Ryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, and Drive By Truckers. In July of 2022, The Pontiacs released their debut single,

"Ghost Town," and are now poised to expand their audience with their well-crafted songs and energetic live performances.
